The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is asking Knoxville residents to consider hosting race fans during the 2022 Knoxville Nationals, scheduled for August 10-13.

An influx of race fans during Nationals creates a lack of lodging for visitors. To help alleviate the issue, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce allows Knoxville area residents to showcase available spaces in their home on the Chamber website. Race fans can then browse through the listings and reach out to the residents directly to book the space. Host housing may include the rental of a home, room(s) or camping space.

“The Chamber’s housing program makes it possible for more race fans to stay in Knoxville and the surrounding area during Nationals,” says Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Director, Emma Skahill. “When more people stay in town, the racetrack, local businesses, and community all benefit. It is a great way for homeowners to help during Nationals and make some extra money for themselves.”

More information, including adding a host listing, is available on the Chamber of Commerce’s website: https://www.chooseknoxvilleiowa.com/nationals-housing-program/
