Working in Marion County
Relationships are the best part. Working in Marion County and at my Alma mater is a privilege and has given me wonderful opportunities to develop and grow relationships with a variety of people.
Living in Marion County
Marion County is full of welcoming individuals who are passionate about their community. I love the friendly atmosphere and people who go the extra mile for their neighbors truly makes it feel like home.
Favorite Place to Relax
Reading in a hammock by Lake Red Rock
Catching up with friends at the Pub, Butcher’s Brewhuis rooftop or one of the many coffee shops.
Career Opportunities
Marion County has such a wide variety of career opportunities. Whether you want to work in a nonprofit or for-profit organization, Marion County has options for you.
Community Favorites
Honestly the amount and variety of coffee shops in Pella is my favorite :) I also love having such great access to Lake Red Rock.
Career Advice to Teens
My advice would be to start getting involved! Start volunteering or working with local nonprofits and community organizations - even if it's just once a month. Through that you will be able to gain a better understanding of yourself and your passions, as well as, how you can better serve your community.
