Working in Marion County
Living and working in Marion County, and Knoxville, is wonderful because of the people. Growing up here I know a few people and it's wonderful to get to do business with them. The business owners are open to helping out another business or working with each other on a project. Our kids go to school in Knoxville so being close to their activities is a huge bonus.

Living in Marion County
? I love living near the lake. Between the small towns and Red Rock you can always find something to do on a weekend. We have a small town feel without being too small.

Favorite Place to Relax
When I am not working, you can find me… at a friends house/garage or at Peace Tree Brewery. We love the trivia and food trucks that they host!

Career Opportunities
? I think young professionals can find plenty of places to use as stepping stones in Marion County. Whether they want to advance to a higher position or to open their own business. They can find resources and people and businesses that will help them with those steps.

Community Favorites
I love the Nationals! We enjoy the local restaurants, as we know many of the owners.

Career Advice to Teens
Go to school and classes and seminars and learn everything you can. Also, practice! You have to practice to grow!

Mentor
Kirsten Myers is the reason I wanted to be a photographer in the first place. Seeing her joy for what she does when I was younger made it an intriguing profession. After her I had a boss in Pella who taught me loads of things about photography and running a business. Of course, though, my Dad and Mom. Seeing my Dad run a business and my Mom run our family helped shape me more than anything.

What is your wish for the Red Rock Area?
To see it grow with more passionate people who get out and do the things! Along with simply growing into a place where people outside us want to come visit for a weekend or an event.

What is your biggest passion, and why?
To provide memories for families

3 Hobbies
Watching my children do things they love. Game nights with friends, Coloring
