Working in Marion County
The best part of working in Marion County is easily the supportive community in which I am immersed. Our community is truly invested in raising up the next generation to be a light to each other and the world.

Living in Marion County
Marion County provides the complete package. We have wonderful small businesses, highly professional services, excellent schools, plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities and a pace of living that provides margin for connection and growth.

Favorite Place to Relax
On the Volksweg Trail around Wallashuck, at Bos Landen, or at one of Pella's wonderful dining establishments with friends or family.

Career Opportunities
Marion County is rare in that if offers advancement opportunities in every sector. What makes it even more unique is the generational experience that we have here and how that provides access to high quality mentorship while advancing in your field.

Community Favorites
I love the Volksweg Trail, Bos Landen, Tulip Time festivities and local sporting events.

Career Advice to Teens
Let's go! Being in education, you have a purpose and you see that purpose everyday on the faces of the students God has called you to care for. To be fortunate enough to yoke yourself to high quality individuals who possess similar passions is also a blessing.

Mentor
Devin Riemer, Dan Zylstra, Matt Vander Linden, Dale and Mary Andringa, Joseph and Kara Dirksen, Brad Meinders, Brian Oschner, Nolan Wiersma, Nick Fynaardt.

What is your wish for the Red Rock Area?
My biggest wish for Marion County is that we would grow in our knowledge of the love of Jesus in deeper ways and share that love more and more in our World.

What is your biggest passion, and why?
That people are seen, known, and loves thus free to flourish in their identities as beautiful, gifted, and purposed children of God.
