Working in Marion County
AMC Mechanical Group has been a life-changing opportunity for me. I come from a health background with management, business and payroll experience. All of this comes into play in the position that I am in. AMC is a company that puts employees and employee families first.

Living in Marion County
Marion County is a wonderful, clean and safe place to live, especially with having a family. The opportunities for kids in school and recreational are top notch. There are a wide variety of events and activities that keep us very busy in the community.

Favorite Place to Relax
As a family we enjoy riding our e-bikes around town and on the bike trail. We enjoy the wide variety of restaurants as well for evenings out. I love taking my dog for walks at the lake and trails, as well as Big Rock Park. You can also find us at all the Pella High sporting events.

Career Opportunities
Marion County offers a wide range of jobs and advancement opportunities. The people of Marion County are very supportive and helpful in getting you to your goals. There are so many jobs and careers to choose from to fit every personality and skill level.

Community Favorites
We are very supportive of Pella Schools and Pella sporting and arts events. We love to attend all the activities. Tulip Time is a big favorite of ours. We enjoy the tourists, the time spent with family, parade involvement, and of course the food.

Career Advice to Teens
We are so lucky to have excelling businesses in Marion County. The company that I work for offers many opportunities for teens and young adults specifically in a 4-year apprenticeship program in HVAC and Plumbing. This can help get individuals set up for success after school without having the debt of college. My biggest advice would be to believe in yourself. You can always achieve success if you put in hard work. In all things in life, it's not the load you carry, it's how you carry it.

Mentor
My husband Ross

What is your wish for the Red Rock Area?
My biggest wish for Marion County would be for us just to continue to excel. There are so many opportunities with jobs and activities, and I would love to see that continue to progress.

What is your biggest passion, and why?
Currently, my children. I have a 16-year old son, Keegan, and 9-year-old daughter, Anniston. Helping them get set up for success and the future would be my biggest passion.

3 Hobbies
Family and friend activites, relaxing at our condo, concerts.
