Working in Marion County
In Marion County, I get the benefit of working for a large, international company while living in a small community.
Living in Marion County
Marion County strikes an amazing balance of small-town life with big city opportunities. You can have a sophisticated job, afford a home, send your kids to quality schools, know your neighbors, and have almost no commute.
Favorite Place to Relax
We actually enjoy spending time in our neighborhood where our kids play across backyards with other kids in the neighborhood.
Career Opportunities
There are very good career advancement opportunities that exist in Marion County, particularly as workforce demographics change. There are needs for new leaders to succeed retiring or transitioning leaders, and there are just flat out needs for more leaders. The trick is that people need to be open minded to the opportunities.
Career Advice to Teens
There is not one path to a legal career. A person doesn’t have to love government, politics, or social sciences to be a lawyer. Develop skills you love, learn to work, and learn to think. If you do that, you’ll be ready for law school, and beyond.
