Our people are the best part of living in Marion County. I am thankful that I get the opportunity to interact with people that I grew up with, as well as meet new people in the county. The people are caring and generous. Time and time again, the people of Marion County have shown their passion and generosity in times of need. The people are one of the many reasons that make me proud to be a part of Marion County, both as a leader of Knoxville, and a citizen of Marion County as a whole.
Career Advice to Teens
My best advice is for any field of work-not just my own. Whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability. Always be willing to listen to others. You may be surprised at what you can learn if you take the time to listen. Appreciate what you have and where you came from, and always be willing to give back.
